About Us

AFIRE Campus Fellowship is a community life group that is dedicated to teaching college students how to “be on fire for Christ” by having an intimate relationship with God.  We are located on the campus of Georgia State University in Downtown Atlanta. Our purpose is to ignite/set afire hearts for Christ by encouraging students to pursue their PASSIONS, walk into their GOD given PURPOSE, and to live BOLDLY for GOD.

Who We Are

By focusing on the five reasons God called us for his purpose, AFIRE ignites the passion, purpose and hearts for Christ by teaching and encouraging college students to:

  • Adore God by worshiping him in spirit and truth (worship - Revelations 4:11 )

  • Fellowship with our sisters and brothers in Christ (fellowship - Hebrews 10:25 and 1 Corinthians 14:26-31)

  • Imitate the characters of Christ in their daily living so that they can be a shining light in darkness (discipleship - Ephesians 4:22-24).

  • Reach and meet the needs of their community and church by serving them (ministry - 1 Peter 4:10-11).

  • Equip themselves with the Word of God so that they can share the gospel of truth and draw others to Christ (evangelism - 2 Timothy 4:5b).

Our Logo

Our logo of a flickering flame of fire represents the flame of God upon His sons and daughters. Fire is symbolic of anointing, being holy, set-apart, and purity. We burn with the flame of God because it is evidence of His presence in us, "for our God is an ever consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:29).
